I would build a house that went high into the trees with lots of windows to give a treehouse feel. I'd fall asleep with the Owls on guard and awake each morning to the Robin's cheerful song.

On stilts over a awesome scene with tree trunk pillars, polished cement and bamboo and cork flooring. Beammed and "rattan " ceilings, stone fireplaces, lots of balconies and levels- but not huge- kind of an Aussie- African Tree House--
