Yes I do. Infact I was hospitalized because the pain was excruciating. The doctors did some testing and they found out that my uterus is anatomically lower than it should be. They said there is nothing wrong with it but maybe since its lowered, I feel the cramps and pain badly. The doctors said it is perfectly fine for my uterus to be there. It also runs in my family. My mother had the same experience as I have and she told me that the cramps and pain gradually went away after she gave birth to my youngest sibling. So, its not only you who is experiencing the pain. I do and so did my mom. What I did to lower down the pain is exercise on the week before I get my period and take a pain reliever on my 1st day of mentruation. It worked for me, I hope it works for u. Good luck.

Yes, I used to have very evil cramps. Bad enough that I stayed home from work and college. My doctor prescribed Yasmin for a few months and after I've gotten off of it, my cramps are much less significant. Don't be afraid to ask for birth control if you genuinely need it. I also have a uterus that is tipped forward slightly, so that contributed to much of my pain. Just have a visit with your doctor and hammer out the issues that are individual to you.

I used to get so badly cramped that i needed prescription medication. I finally learned that eating more nutritiously during your period should really combat cramps and pain. Some examples are whole grains, fruit and vegetables. Please be sure not to take in lots of sodium also.

PS that would make it 10 times worse!

Yes mine were terrible, so I went to the OBGYN and she put me on a low dose birth control (Nuva Ring to be exact) and now I have very minimal pain.

Yes I do all the time and I bleed a lot (due to being anemic)
The best thing you should do is take IBUPROFEN or anything that contains it like Advil and Midol.

Just drink water and dont do anything too strenuous.

Yep. I went to my gyne and he said that I had cysts rupturing on my ovaries. Yes it is painful but at least now I know what causes it.

Sure...and the best thing is moderate exercise, lots of water. But for now....go take two Tylenol, lay down, rest and call me in the morning.
