I have a 1995 325ic BMW...
I bought this car used and I have a feeling that the previous owner did not take care of the car very well. Also, I bought this car in Hawaii and it has been there since 1995. I now live in cold Seattle and now I feel like the car is acting a little funny due to the drastic climate change. The doors squeak (I did put WD-40) and sometimes the doors won't open from the outside (it gets stuck for some reason). Any suggestions or anything else that I can do (without taking it to a shop) to make the car run and perform better? Thanks.

the gas additive is fine for all cars it cleans out the injectors and you may need a tune up start there first

Whoa, hang on! WD 40 will not make the doors move better for long, these things need grease, not WD40. I once ruined a bicycle chain that way. If the doors don't open and close properly at times, it could be because the car may have badly matching body panels from being in an accident once. That would be hard to remedy. If that isn't it, look at the locking mechanism: Is ir aligned correctly? You can tell by watching closely when you close the doors. If parts seem to be banging into each other, even gently, then what you need is a little screw driver and do some fiddling to align things. Did you put WD40 into the locking mechanism, too? If so, get some proper lubricant FROM THE BMW DEALER and put it in soon before things get worse (WD40 actually leaches out lubricant, it's used to strip grease off).
The car should not have any problems dealing with the colder weather in Seattle, it's from germany, which is as hot as Hawaii in summer and much colder than Seattle in winter. If anything, get the oils changed, they may be the problem (hot climates use different types, which can get gooey when it's cold).
A 1995 BMW is a pretty young car, you should still get a lot of use out of it, but do get it checked by a BMW dealer, spend that money, it's cheaper than wrecking it with wrong substances.

WD-40 is pretty short term You need lithium grease for doors and such. Try an oil change with some good 10/30 Mobile 1 or something. It'll be better for cold climates than the Crabnaski's discout 40 weight the Hawaiian probably used. The fuel system cleaner might not do much, but it's safe.

individually, i do no longer think in ingredients in any respect, no depend the place they're used. the ultimate thank you to bathe any equipment is to bodily sparkling them while possible or to apply the commercial kit used in motor vehicle shops to do the job. gas equipment cleaners, which includes gas injection cleaners extra to the gas grow to be so diluted that the effectiveness is marginal. the two have the equipment wiped sparkling via taking it to a save to do it, or do no longer waste you funds on those ingredients. Carburetor and throttle physique cleaners artwork as do brake cleaners and penetrating fluids for particular makes use of, yet any cleanser extra to the gas tank is a waste of time and funds.
