I pop an Alka-Seltzer in my mouth, fall to the ground, then start twitching and foaming at the mouth.
That usually gets their attention.

I say "excuse me" or I get someone I'm with to catch someone's attention (with words or going over to them).

I call the person's name... If I know the person well, I tap them on the shoulder or something...
If I'm trying to be polite, I say, "Excuse me... Do you mind..." or something close to that! :-)

Say their name, tap them on the shoulder, throw something at them (hardness depending on how ticked off you are at them)
