I pop an Alka-Seltzer in my mouth, fall to the ground, then start twitching and foaming at the mouth.
That usually gets their attention.

I say "excuse me" or I get someone I'm with to catch someone's attention (with words or going over to them).

I call the person's name... If I know the person well, I tap them on the shoulder or something...
If I'm trying to be polite, I say, "Excuse me... Do you mind..." or something close to that! :-)

Say their name, tap them on the shoulder, throw something at them (hardness depending on how ticked off you are at them)

Dragon will poke them with her finger. Poke, poke, poke...
Or she will clear her throat, or say their name.
But she prefers poking.
