They play songs you like to get you hooked, then irritate you once you're hooked to extort money from you to change their behavior to something you like again, and play more songs you like to keep you hooked. It's a great way to make millions of dollars from the undiciplined and weak-minded.
Go to lime wire and download what you really like.

The reason why a song might play at a different time is that's a remake from another artist. For instance you hear Jessica Simpson singing, "Take My Breath Away" and you ban it because you hatee the song. The next day you hear Berlin's original version of "Take My Breath Away" and you wonder why you are hearing that song again. Well that's what is happening. This is good if you hate Jessica Simpson's version of the song, but you want to hear Berlin's version of the song.

The paid version has no commercials, has more bands that you can listen too and you can hear more than 200 songs per month.
