I'm at a loss, I know what I want to do career wise but have no idea what degree to shoot for. Can anyone help clarify what needs to be taken in school in order to work in an adoption agency?

You would most likely need a psychology or sociology degree with some experience working with children & family services. Your work experience would probably qualify you more than the actual degree area in which you majored.

Depends on what position you want at the adoption agency! If you want to be an adoption supervisor most places require you to have a masters degree in social work or a related field and they required that you are licensed as LSW or LPC.
