If I understand the questions correctly, you are trying to find the routers IP address? If so, usually it is 192.168.0.1

You can use your web browser and type it in the address. This should connect to it and then you can go into the router and do whatever you need.

Also, check the router manual. If you don't have it, look online (best place the manufacturer's website) and search for the manual.. They always have an ecopy of it.

What brand is the router? Go to http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm just pick your router brand and model; after picking the model pick any app just so that it can tell you what the IP is in order to gain access to the config.
