Do saves from a PAL version game work on a USA version game? (Playstation 2 console)?

I played the japanese version of DBZ Tenkaichi 2, and completed it. The save file didn't work on the UK Version. Since im getting the USA version, I'm just wondering if it's worth to beat it in the UK version since I don't want to waste another 30+hours. So if I beat it in the UK version, will the save work on the U.S. version? Thnx

No, when you save data from a PAL game you cannot use it on NTSC or JAP. (or vice versa)
