I have been finding a painful lump in breast at least once a month, like when I should have a period (I dont have periods anymore), or when I drink anything with caffenine in it. Was wondering if anyone else had this and if they could tell me more about it. All the females in my family have it but my mother.

it's very common and NOT dangerous......it does make it more difficult to check yourself for potentially dangerous lumps, though....since you already have so many lumps.....and as you obviously know, staying away from caffeine is supposed to help...you can also look up some herbal remedies, I know there are several, but I have never tried any because mine isn't that bad.

This is very very normal. I have lumps all over my breasts all month long. Some go away when my period starts.They have found no link between this and breast cancer. The only problem is that is it may prove to be difficult to do a self breast exam. I try to do it once a month one the same date and use the exact same motion that way I learn about my breasts and I know where key lumps are. If I find a new lump I wait and see if it goes away when I start my period.
