I wait for someone else to pick it up.We all look at each other and wait to see who will answer it first.

When at home I don't answer the phone because I am the one who answers the phone at work!!! So by the time I get home I hate hearing the phone ring!

When my home phone rings, I hurry to turn off the ringer. It's just a telemarketer or a salesperson. They can leave a message on the machine.
Anyone who needs to get a hold of me, such as family & friends, know to call my mobile phone instead & that I will rush to answer.

I wait to my caller Id Shows up On My TV and I see Who It is If it someone I want to talk to I answer It. If it is someone for Someone else in the family Then I let them or I let the Answering Machine answer it

I'm usually right by the phone, but I like getting chewed out when I'm right there and don't even bother reaching over... it's always some gay sales-guy... mom'll learn to love me for my caller ID reading abilities.

I screen all my calls with the answering machine.
If it's someone I want to talk to at that particular moment, I pick it up.
