They are all right, technically, when it comes to exact distance. But, mile races in short course yards are actually only 1650 yards, which is 66 laps.

35 1/2 laps (there and back)
or 71 lengths (across the pool) will get you just over a mile. 1 mile = 70.4 lengths of the pool (times across one way).

63 then red, so really 66 laps, if you know what 63 then red means you know that in competive swimming it is 66 25's for a 1650.

ummm... 71 laps i think but i swim in a meter pool so im just guessing for yards

about 71 or so i had to swim like four miles during the summer so i did not keep all the numbers up, but i know that is around there
