I can't seem to find a make-up that will both cover up my mild acne AND not cause me to break out even more. I've resorted to NEVER wearing foundation and only wearing powder, mainly Bare Minerals type stuff....

HELP????

Try Maybelline PureStay Powder Foundation. It has pretty good coverage for a powder. For spot treatments I like Revlon's Colorstay concealer underneath it if necessary. I've been using it for years, and it doesn't seem to cause a ridiculous amount of increased breakout. Of course wash it off everynight.

For acne treatment after you wash your face try one of Neutrogena's Pore Redefining products, or something like that, they're usually in a white tube with pink lettering. My face does best when I do three steps: wash, tone, treatment. My dermatologist told me to use mild antibacterial handsoap to wash my face! A cheap bottle of witchhazel will work as a toner, and I highly recommend the Neutrogena Night time products! You'll notice a big difference in about 2 weeks!

Well i use Maybelline's pure makeup. works great for any skin type. (im acne prone too)
the pure foundation is 50% waterbased and oil free. wont clog pores. and it wont cause breakouts. has long lasting coverage. has vitE, alow, chamomile to soothe skin. its sooo skin friendly. i LOVE this product. my classmates and shcoolmates have commented me and siad i look blooming. :) its a gel/liquid foundation by the way. full coverage and you can ask a saleslady at the department store to help you find a shade that matches your skintone.

after you apply the foundation, you can use the pure concealer to cover those scars or whatever. but the foundation can give good coverage already. but to be sure about the coverage, use the concealer also.

after concealing, touch up with the pure powder. that also includes aloe, chamomile, and vitE to soothe skin. just pat lightly onto your face. whenever you need to retouch, just use the powder. no need to apply foundation again and again. i love maybelline's puremakeup!!!!

You could try Almay Clear Complexion Powder. It's not expensive and you can find it in almost any pharmacy.
I have the same problem and I also refuse to wearing foundation! Good luck, I know the feeling.

I use bare minerals....it has helped control the oil and doesn't make me break out. Sounds like you have already tried it though.... but it isn't just powder, so not too sure on that one. Have you used actual bare minerals foundation? you should try it out along with the mineral veil.

bare Minerals led to my uncomplicated zits to get lots worse. i attempted it some cases to make particular yet confident adequate I broke out like clockwork with it. ought to have been the bismuth. i in my view needed to like it. My previous standby has and consistently would be Laura Mercier's Oil-unfastened Tinted Moisturizer and the secret Camoflage. It provides the main faultless insurance for zits vendors pores and skin imo. The term "tinted moisturizer" is extremely deceptive with the aid of fact it particularly is in fact complete-insurance foundation. i like it with the aid of fact it does not look as though gunk on my face it particularly is what maximum foundation sounds like while it settles on my zits and barnacles :P it particularly is somewhat high priced on first look yet interior the long-term it has easily been approximately equivalent to drug save manufacturers in value with the aid of fact it lasts lots longer. i've got been making use of the comparable concealer for greater desirable than a year now and the tinted moisturizer i prefer little or no of considering its sooo pigmented. i take advantage of one tube of LM interior the time i could bypass via a minimum of three of my former Revlon Colorstay.

Im like the girl before me. BareMinerals is the best makeup for your skin.
You can get it online, on QVC, at their store, or at Sephora.
Its pricey but it definetly works, it lasts for a long time too.

Cheap makeup will make your skin breakout but this makeup however does not. My face cleared up after using it.

You should use Proactiv to stop breaking out and use make-up from their line of products. The products are especially designed for acne-prone skin so you won't break out when you use it.

maybelline has a concealer from their "pure" line. its called "pure.concealer" and it contains salicycal acid that gets rid of pimples while hiding it. choose one that is the same skin tone as ur skin.

also neutrogena has some skinclearing makeup. hahahah and that's wat its called too. they have powder and foundation and tinted moisturizers and everything.
