My husband came home and I asked him if I could go to spend the night with mom and he said I could go if I made some meals for him and gave him some flat plates. He said he wouldn't use the microwave without having flat plates because he says the curves on the plate cause the microwaves to heat unevenly or something like that. I told him that mom could pick me up and we could go looking for them and then he hid my mittens. He says if I can find the mittens I can go with mom to the store. He knows I don't like to go out in the cold without them. Where would a man hide his wife's mittens and where can I get flat plates? I just want my husband to be happy and I want to be able to do some things with mom tonight and tommorow.

Your questions don't pack the usual punch they have in the past. Are you running out of outrageous scenarios for us? Based on your husband's faux past behavior I seriously doubt that he even allows you to use the microwave. I don't believe you even have a microwave. He's such a controlling old fashioned stifling phony spouse that he would never allow that appliance in the house.
But here's my advice: buy some of those flimsy paper plates and wear socks on your hands.

He probably hid the mittens in the microwave. Okay, tell me you are just joking and that this is all made up... If it is true, forget the mittens, forget the flat plates, take his keys, his car and go to your moms. Tell him that when he finds out where you hid his wallet, you will think about coming home...If this is for real, you have a super controller on your hands and you need to see about getting him some help...

How old are you? Don't you have some extra mittens? Go without the mittens and buy some more.
