Obi-Wan Kenobi, in my opinion. He had some great powers.

Obi Wan Kenobi then comes that little green fellow. Anakin was better as Darth Vader and it didn't take a Jedi to save Luke Skywalker but a loving dad. Padme and Leah would've made better Jedis than Anakin and Luke put together. Women's intuition methinks.

Definately Obi Wan Kanobi - he kicked Anakin's butt in episode 3 and held his own in episode 4.

As far as ability only, between the two, it would be Anakin. If we are talking strength of mind, dedication and adherence to the Jedi way, then it's Obi Wan. He made sacrifices for the good of all and Anakin was mired in his personal wants/needs. Obi Wan truly understood what it meant to be a Jedi and tried to convey this to Anakin. Anakin was young, arrogant and foolish. I still loved him in Sith, though.

Anakin has a higher midi-chlorian count in his system which means he is stronger in the force than obi wan but anakin turns to the dark side so i'd say obi wan

I don't know. In episode 1, Anikan was a genius, way beyond a normal kid his age, and he knew it which is one reason why I think he ended becoming bad. He knew he was better than what people thought him to be.
So he challenged Obi-Wan which was a mistake since Obi-Wan was, at the time, a better jedi, and he ended up getting his arm and legs cut off.

obi one. He could understand the good side of the force and its possibilities whereas Anakin only exploited the bad.
Ewan Mcgregor is so sexy.
