We are in more trouble that I dared hope. God help us all.

The idiots have been elected by the idiots that voted for them and we are all along for the ride.

Maybe we sane should secede from the country and take our money with us and see how far you socialists get. None of you work or pay taxes and without our taxes lets see you try to support yourselves without the handouts we used to provide.

The Dems don't take over until 2007. Hopefully the conservative Dems that were just elected will have a voice! Some of them were Republicans just before they ran for this office, makes you wonder what they were offered.

ONce again....they have not taken over.....for several reasons....

1. The pres still has the veto pen, and the dems do not have enough of a majority to override it....

2. At the same time, the pres will have to mind his manners if the Reps are to have a good run in 08'.

Meaning in order for either party to get anything done for the next two years...they are going to have to play nice......and the moderates are going to be the key players, not the far left wing or the far right wing.......very good in my opinion

Of course they don't OFFICIALLY take over yet, but are out talking smart. Hopefully they will get that out of their system in a couple of days and buckle down to work together with Bush to solve some of our problems. I can stomach the gloating for a while, but if they can't find a way to work with Bush and the Republicans, we are no better off than we were last week.

Sweetheart. They have not "officially" taken over. That will happen in January. At that time we will watch them like hawks, and laugh when they fall, and all the while plan on recapturing control back to where it belongs, to the political right, not the Communist left.

The sun will still rise tomorrow. I will wake up and make my own way through this world. I am a Republican but I am not consumed by politics. I will live on.

Nothing right now, but come back in about a year when your taxes are back up, investment in domestic business is down, unemployment is back on the rise, and we are at a higher terrorist threat level and I'll let you know. These things are exactly what the Democratic party stand for, so don't expect anything less.
