I ask this one again I am 12 and went shopping wit my mom and my big brother and sister and they were pickin on me so i was in rilly bad mood. My mom kept telling me stuff an was nagging me like she does all time now. we used get along super good but now shes like always mad at me so i started yellin back at her and even tell her 2 shut up and leve me alone. She said i was rilly being rude and yell at me in the store. When i got home she gave me a rilly bad spanking that hurt lots and i had to write to her about what i did wrong and i was still mad at her cos she didnt listen to my side at all!! Is that fair to do that or is she just bein mean???!! Does anyone else got mother like her???

You poor thing. Many people out there have the same problem as you so don't think that you're the only one in that position. Just try and avoid your mother as much as possible. On special occasions, make her something meaningful. I'm not sure if this will help, but maybe it'll improve your relationship. Otherwise, maybe your mother just needs help because something is troubling her. If so, bring another person into the picture to help her.

First of all, let me say this... spanking is NOT abuse unless she does it excessively for no reason. For instance lets say you just came in from school and you sit down and relax cause the day was hard. If you mom comes out of nowhere and starts kickin' your butt then THAT'S abuse! If you were being bad then it's not abuse!
My mom hadn't had to beat me since I was little cause I learn my lesson QUICK! Actually, one time (I think I was 14 or 15, something like that) I called my mom a lier and she smacked me across my mouth and I knew NEVER to do THAT again!
But about you mom being mean, are U sure U didn't do anything? Maybe when you write that manatory letter you should write something like, "P.S: Mom, why don't we get along as well as we used to. We used to get along 'super good' but now it seems like we argue all the time." That might start up a convo and maybe change things for the better.

That's discipline. I am 13 and my mom does that, and I thank her. If you do bad stuff, and get away, that's not good, especially when you're little, you get used to getting away, you might grow up, you might kill someone, or rob a store, and instead of a little spanking, you'll get death row or prison. She doesn't want you to be spoken to behind glass, so she spanks you, so you don't want a spanking and you stop.

Are you Christian? Read Prov. 13:24, it says
“He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes", translations, he who doesn't spank, hates his child.
If she spanks you for no apparent reason, that is another story, but there is a reason.
Plus, telling your mother to shut up is a deadly sin.
"Thou shalt honour thy mother" is one of the ten commandments. I agree with your mother, I wouldn't tolerate that either if you were my daughter.
Plus she was shopping for you and you disrespect her? You are wrong.

Okay gurl i'mma tell you straight up.
you wouldn't last a day in my shoes.I never will twll my ma to shut or leave me alone.Any yungin' that tell my mamma that better run.Cause i kno my ma will slap me.She'll knock me off my feet if i eva told her to shut-up,mind her own buisness,or leave me alone.i'll get my azz whipped like i don't kno what.
I don't think it's fair that your ma provides everything u need,food,clothing,shelter, and takes care of you and then you disrespect her like that and talk to her like she nobody.she don't have to get up outta bed every morning and go to work all to provide a decent living for you.Come live where I stay for awhile and you'll see that most kids have it worse than you.Some kids i know buy they own clothes,and put food on the table b-cuz their ma don't work.
You need to count your blessings.
If your ma does nothing but hola and ignores you, and never listens to your side that's pretty unfair.But their are kids whose mom's are like that but they also don't get up and go to work don't care where they children is,don't care what they children doing.And so on.
I think you should to talk your mom and try to set things straight.

my friends' mom WAS just like that. Only pregnant. Then after she had her baby she was nice again. Is your mom pregnant?

Your mom doesn't have any right to spank you when you are that old!!!!!!! Maybe to spank an eight year old, but not a twelve year old! My mom is just like that except she'll just yell at me. I used to be spanked when I was younger, but when I turned ten I wasn't spanked anymore.
