you know, in my university there is a teacher that from time to time, tells a student that they iaren't meant for the career, but he actually does that on purpose for motivation, how do I know that??, he did it with me, I was so worried!, so I tried even harder and harder got the best grades in class (it was administration class so that was complicated and he is a very strict professor) and when I finished the year with him he told me his little secret, he told some of his students that they aren't meant for the career, as a motivation and if the student decides that wasn't his career, and was so easy to persuade, then he/she wasn't meant for that.
so maybe your teacher just wants to see how sure you are about being a journalist.

Did you ask your program-coordinator why he/she doesn't think you are cut out for Journalism? Do you agree with their assessment?
How important is this to you? Is it a dream?
Some things can be learned and you may have to work harder. How bad do you want this?
In the end, one person's opinion is meaningless, unless it's YOUR OPINION.
If I really wanted to be a Journalist, I would figure out what I need to do to make it happen.... and I'd make it happen!
Best Wishes,
Sue

Well... all I can say is that sucks. I would listen to their advice and see what you can do to improve. Sometime coordinators say that so you will start working harder. Either way, I would stay and graduate. Chances are, she is wrong.
Good Luck!

If you've gotten this far, then obviously you will do just fine, Just don't give up, and be strong-willed. What you go through can only make you stronger, and wiser.
