dellauction.com has decent cheap ones.(these are refurbished)
also wait for the black friday sale at bestbuy(friday after thanksgiving). also in response to your next boss's comments on the macbook thats PURELY opinion. most colleges fancy dells even tho they arent really that great. if you want less hassle between your schools IT dept. and your computer buy a dell if your looking for something cheap...black friday is the day to find it.
