It means that he doesn't like his girlfriend or her company as much as he should. He may have feelings for you but he needs to deal with his 'girlfriend' before trying to pursue them.

If he has any brains at all, he should know that the surest way to break up with his present GF is to not spend his B-day with her. He wants to be with you, not her on his day? I would say that yeah, I think that he likes you more than just a friend.

Maybe you should ask him why he is choosing your company over hers. Have you pointed out to him that maybe it might be a good idea to at least include the GF in the day? Or do you even want to go there?

The other big question is: how do you feel about him?
Good luck!

Tell him to break it off with his GF if he wants to be with you... Then you'll know if he really is serious about you or just likes having you around as a side dish...

I think that he should be with his girlfriend for his birthday, but if he likes you then why does he have a girlfriend??? If you do like him then just tell him how you feel b/c if he don't leave her for you then Where does that leave you.....Booty Call......You don't want to be that. You're better!!!!!!!
