I am planning a trip to Grand Oasis Riviera Maya for Thanks Giving. I am travelling with Children aged 4 and 7. Is this place any good ?

Since you've obviously already booked your vacation, I'm not going to try and give you a sales pitch - just information.
On a scale of 1-6, with 6 being the highest, the Grand Oasis Riviera Maya is rated a 5. It is in Akumal, which is a beautiful location, but, depending upon how you're getting from the airport to the resort, could take 90 minutes, since it is one of the most southern of all the Riviera Maya resorts.
It was renovated after last hurricane season, and is in very good shape on a great beach. For a smaller resort (270 rooms), it has great facilities, with 7 restaurants, 8 bars, 4 pools and nightly entertainment.
I think that you've made a good choice - go and enjoy with your kids!
