Not dealing with an issue like mold would constitute a breach of contract by your landlord and you would be able to take action to end the lease.

Yes some times you can... however you have to give the landlord time to fix the problem. I would send them a certified letter stating the problem and if they do not fix it after 3 times of putting the problem in writing them take them to court and try to get outta your lease.

Sure you can but there will probably be a fight. As mold does present health concerns you should be able to get out but I am sure your landlord will not cooperate. You may end up in court.
