glass is indeed silicon and oxygen, a molecule with one silicon and two oxygen molecules. It is essentially quartz (from sand grains) that has been melted and then recrystallized. It forms what is known as an amorphous solid. This means it tends to flow at very slow rate. For example a window will be slightly thicker at the bottom than the top after a few decades. The microcrystalline structure is responsible for this. Glass is typically made from a very pure quartz sand.

Glass isn't an element. It's a compound of silica (SiO2) and a flux, like sodium or pottassium. The flux helps the silica melt, and combines with it to form glass.
If you want to know which of those other elements it is, look at the structure. Glass does not have a well developed crystaline structure. It's more of a liquid than a solid. So perhaps water.

Glass is silicon dioxide (SiO2, so it is not an element, it is a compound (of elements). The "elements" you describe are the explanation of the ancient Greeks, and are not recognized by Science today as being elements. If you insist on living in the past, then glass is "earth".

The five "elements" you mention are not elements. That was the assumption a long time ago when no one knew any better. Glass is a compound called Silicon Dioxide. It's made of the elements silicon and oxygen.

Glass is a mixture of compounds; SiO2 being the highest percentage. Others, like sodium carbonate are added to reduce the melting temperature and thermal expansion and give color.
