I remember Ben telling Ethan to get a list of names of the site that he visited, but I have no idea who Jacob is. Several answers seem to point that Sawyer wasn't wanted, but I think it was Jack that they were talking about. Pickett mentioned that he didn't understand why Ben would do this (trust Jack with his life) when he wasn't even on Jacob's list. Who knows? By the time February rolls around, we'll probably forget he even mentioned that.

No offense to the different answerers, yet i think of you're all incorrect. I say this through fact he reported "they're coming" in a nasty way, as in he become afraid. i've got faith his brother and him have consistently been in scuffling with, and that i've got faith that the Locke imposter become truthfully Jacob's brother (the guy considered with him before everything of the episode). He had to discover a loophole to kill his brother through fact there are regulations the place you are able to not kill fellow Islanders or something like that. With Jacob long previous, his brother's military ought to take over the island. So i've got faith the human beings he become speaking approximately have been his brother's military. seems like Ben isnt the leader after all! have no idea who Jacob is-they've never ever mentioned him before. so that means sawyer and kate were wanted for some other reason...but why?! oh maybe its the FBI-they are both criminals! I could be on to something...

the Others sent a person to each crash site. Jacob went to the site of the front of the plane. They made a lit of people to capture. Sawyer wasn't on it. that means that they didn't care whether he lived or died.

i'm not sure ben told ethan and jacob to make lists of survivors when he sent the to the 2 crash sites they seem to be privy to everyones imformation i think that is how they choose to take who they take but why kids?
