Sometimes home pregnancy test are stupid go to the doctor and get a blood test. If the blood test comes back negitive ask him to send you off for an ultrasound. And if you aint pregnant he will probarly put you on drugs to bring on your period. I am late by two days and took a pregnancy test and it was negative so I went to the doctors today and got a blood test. Have to wait till tomorrow to get the results. Wish me Luck!

It might mean you're not pregnant, or it might also mean that your body is not yet producing enough of the hcg hormone for the test to pick it up.

First of all, buy a very sensitive home pregnancy test -- "First Response" brand is one of the most sensitive on the market and can detect very low levels of hcg.

Second, use first-morning urine, and try not to drink anything a few hours before bedtime the night before you take it, to avoid diluting your urine.

Finally, wait at least three days from your last test to take another one. Good l uck and I hope you get the outcome you're looking for.

Generally yes. Although sometimes she might have miscalculated her period, and not really be late, or her body might be pregnant and not producing a high enough level of hormones to be detected by the test.

Its best to assume you're not, and test again to be sure in a week.

No, home pregnancy tests are not a 'sure thing', going to the doctor and having them do a test is the only proof positive way.

no you could have miss calculated when you were supposed to get it or you may not have enough of the pregnancy hormone in your body yet you should use the first morning urine and try again in a couple days if you still dint have your period and is still negative call your Dr.

Over the counter tests are surprisingly accurate. My midwife told me if you take more then one, you are wasting your money. Make an appointment with your doctor, he is the only answer that you will probably accept anyways.

nope, not at all. you might be pregnant but still at this point it will show negative. just wait for several days and if there is no period, try the test again.

No, you still could be. It takes weeks for the test to work.

ok if you are using the word "prego" im not sure if you are ready to be a parent. Go to your doctor and they will be able to tell you.
