to be honest i think both are overpriced and lacking in good own brand products. Sainsburys staff are quite rude sometimes so if i had to choose one it would be Tesco but i'm an Asda (walmart) girl myself, the service is great, and the prices are reasonable.

I hate both with a vengeance. When needs must I go to Tesco because its nearer and Sainsburys is a filthy dive here. xx

Personally, since I live in Kenya where there is neither, I would be really grateful for either. But when I live in England again, I think I'd prefer Tesco cos I think over all it's less expensive.

Tescos as it's 1 min walk from work - but prefer Asda as its stuff is still good and slightly cheaper. Plus George clothing is a godsend when you've got young kids.
