I want to add bullets to something I'm making, and I can't get it so that when you hit ENTER to go to the next line and then hit TAB, a different looking bullet will appear underneath the above line. I know how to insert bullets, but they are all the same and right underneath each other. How can I make it so it looks something like this:

A
a

rather than what it is doing to me now:

A
A
A

See what I mean? PLEASE someone help me!!

I don't think anyone is understanding my question. I want this: I type the asterick, *, and then hit the spacebar and type what I want. Then I hit ENTER and TAB and a different looking bullet will appear underneath the first one and a little to the right. How can I set up my Word program to do that???

I think I can help. What you need to do is to click on "Bullets and Numbering..." under the "Format" menu. Once there, the first tab (the one that should be selected) should be "Bullets". If not, click on it. Once there, choose your bullet style or choose a custom bullet. Then click "OK" and you are good to go.
