There's a Redneck Christmas song like the 12 Days of Christmas. Use the gifts given from that song.

On the twelfth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me
12-Pack of Bud
11 Rasslin' Tickets
Tin of Copenhagen
9 Years Probation
8 Table Dancers
7 Packs of Redman
6 Cans of Spam
5 Flannel Shirts
4 Mud grip tires
3 Shotgun shells
2 Huntin' dogs
And some parts to a Mustang GT

That's a funny theme! Good luck!

No. Do not use a pine tree. You are killing the nature, so try something else. How about making a scene with a plastic decorated tree in the corner a fake fireplace a couch a table with hot coco on it and some poeople sit on the couch while someone drives the float.

Hmm. Well, You could buy the cheapest, fakest looking Christmas tree you can find (the bigger the better) and hang RC cola cans, moonpies, John Deere stuff, maybe confederate flags( but think about if it will offend the people where you live). Maybe use Levi ads if you can find some. You could also dress up some kid as a little old hilbilly and sit them in a rocking chair next to the tree.

Gosh ... it seems like this could turn out very badly. A redneck Christmas float? From a church? I am just speechless. I'm grasping at straws here ... "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer?"

Well, you could use one of those old silver trees (you know the one) and hang beer cans off of it....but I'm not certain that's appropriate for a youth group. The silver tree or a really ratty pine tree would be good How about hanging "dead" animals off of it? They couldn't be obviously stuffed animals but something close to possums, squirrells and such would be good. (I still think those and the beer cans would be good). Good luck.

How about a cheesy, plastic tree with hubcaps for ornaments.
