FamMom has a good product listed. If you want something without any poison that is completely safe on vegetables try neem oil, horticultural oil or insecticidal soap. You can get all three at a good L&G Center. They kill by coating the mite and they suffocate. Make sure you spray the bottom of the leaves because 90% of them are there. Bonide also makes a blend of oils (that smells pretty good) called Mite-X. Works the same way--it's my favorite.

There are several ways to kill spidermites. They do not like a moist environment,so mist your plants often. A good organic method is to use a product with Pyrethrum in it . This is an extract from another plant so you can use it up to day of harvest on edible plants. It is best to apply it in either the shower or the sink. Please read the instructions carefully! I hope I helped you.

Mix dish soap and water in a spray bottle and spray the leaves. It will not kill the plant, only the spidermites. Don't saturate them or get it into the potting soil.

try dish soap and water on new growth every couple of days. make sure you get under leaves too -- usually you can wipe the eggs off fairly easily. the mixture should be watery but still have the color of the soap. a liberal squirt in a glass of water will work fine. make sure you wash all the soap off after or it will dry out the leaves.
