According to the Ukrainian Census of 2001, ethnic Ukrainians make up 77.8% of the population. Ukrainians and Russians kind of blend together in a lot of areas in Ukraine, so Russians aren't really considered a minority by most people there (but in reality, they are, i guess). Along the border with Romania, in places like Bukovina, the population is around 18 percent Romanian.
