A picture can help, if you give it energy, but what would be more effective, is one that you can invest with more mystical belief. Drawing, or creating it yourself, this would be more potent...
turning it into a ritual, even more...
Magick is the mind changing reality, but it has to be convinced to do it, and belief is the horse that draws that cart...

Amulet is more of connection thing but can bring what you want through wishes on it... It is best not to take it off at all if possible, it stores more energy and is more powerful that way... you have to invoke it though with constant energy...

nope. don't believe it. i think people wear it because they believe in it; that if they don't wear it then they'll have the worst luck ever. so it's all in our mind, really. we rely too much on those things.
