My parents will be married 25 years at the end of this month. They've asked my three sisters and I to each paint them a picture. One of my sisters has already decided to paint our parents when they were younger using old photographs. I'm really stuck for ideas! Please help! Thanks!

Paint them on their wedding day or when you were born, both happy days for them I'm sure = )

I have the same thing going on. So I decided to paint both my parents ' growing up houses' as paintings. Together it will show the future of growing up with two very different people.

Havent read all the answers so dont know if someone has suggested that you paint the garden of their home? If that's not possible, paint them together in a 'scene'..... for instance my father used to fish, and my mother also paints, so if i was doing them i could do a riverside scene, with Daddy standing fishing and Mummy sitting on the bank, painting.

might be interesting to have a comic book approach and tell the story of their life together in one painting.
When they first met, their wedding day, the birth of you and your sisters, any other special days that have happened over the past 25 years. and leave one square empty for you to finish it off with a great shot of them on their 25th anniversary day.

if you are a good artist perhaps paint the number 25 and have your dad leaning against the no 2 with your mum sat in the curved part of the 5

Do you have any pictures of your sisters and you that you could paint? I think that would be a nice picture...a picture of your kids.
