Do you know that not all bottled water is spring water (Poland Spring, Deer Park, Evian) but filtered water (Dasani, Aquafina, etc)? Does it matter to you? Are you willing to buy anything that's water and bottled or does it need to be spring water?

We filter using Brita at home but if I'm out I can't bring myself to buy stuff like Dasani or Aquafina because it's just about the same as what I can get from home. I will buy spring water and have no problem paying money for it.
It's mystified me (not angered or anything just one of those "hmmm" things) that people will drop money on filtered tap water over actual spring water.

I never buy bottled water. Why pay $3 for something that is FREE?!!!? Penn and Teller played a trick on people offering a restaurant that served quality water. The trick was all the different "gourmet water" that they were selling was from the same hose out back. These people drinking it swore it tasted so fresh and clean and could taste a difference in each different "brand" of water. Being that they all came from a hose, there was no difference. They just think there is. In a taste test, 9 out of 10 people chose tap water over bottled water. They said it tasted crisper and cleaner than the other and didn't believe they chose tap water.

I do buy bottled water because my tap water is just gross. I also buy Evian because i think it tastes better. I've tried the filtered bottled and you can tell. It's not about spring or filtered so much as taste, if they could make a filtered water that really did taste good i would buy it, especially if it were less expensive.

I actually prefer filtered water to spring water. I like the taste of it better. I like Dasani more than any other water.

I know it is not really spring water but I love Dasani and Evian bottle water. The best tasting water ever.

the brita filter works fine, i think. we I live the tap water doesn't taste good because it is "hard" water, and the filter takes out the hard minerals and makes it taste as good as bottled water. if people think you are cheap for not buying bottled water, just tell them how much the Brita filters cost.

bottled water tape water its all the same. research shows that tap is just as safe as bottled. buy yourself a Brita water filter and save some money

I buy bottled water no matter what brand really, only because anything tastes better than the tap water where I live!

Dragon drinks tap water filtered by Brita. She does not need a bottle for it, she is a big girl now. She uses a sippy cup. :p

I agree I believe that most bottled water is just filtered but i will still buy it cause water is better for u.

I buy bottle water b/c where I live we get our water from a River and it tastes nasty! even with a brita filter!
