Ukraine is a diverse country.

Western Ukraine is "pro west", and the people tend to carry the "asian" features... dark haired, dark eyes, european build, with much of the "blood" being Polish, Hungarian, etc. The people there are very "pro nationalist", and prefer the Ukrainian language over Russian.

Easter Ukraine is "pro Russia", and the people tend to carry "russian" features... lighter hair, lighter colored eyes (browns, greens, etc), more of a "hearty" build, with much of the "blood" being Russian. The people there are very aligned with Russia, and many talk of splitting the East and West, as most of the disagree with the current "pro West" politics. They speak almost exclusively Russian, except for "government documents" and "official business".

In general, people are warm and honest. My wife (a Ukrainian) will often say "a Ukrainian will never steal $5 from someone... but they will steal $3 million". I find their values are very 1950's USA.

My experience is that the women are treated as "objects", and often are expected to do all the child rearing, cooking, cleaning, etc... not only for her family, but for her single brothers or sons too... even if they don't live at home.

The men are the "business people" in general, and often a woman in business must rely on a man for backing to be successful (not financially, but for "roof"... protection).

The society still lives on the bribe... anything can be bought in Ukraine for the right amount of money... documents, good medical care, etc.

For example, my wife recently had sinusitus... the regional doctor wrote her a medical leave from work, which means she had to be treated before returning... her choices? Enter the hospital for 1 week, on the national medical, or visit the doctors "private office" 3 times for 10 minutes, and pay for her "treatment" (basically she paid $12 for a saline wash of her nose).

The medical care is medival in a lot of ways. There is a lot of advanced medicine in Kiev, but it is out of the price reach of most Ukrainians. From experience, diabetes care is on par from 1950's USA... all diet and injections. My insulin pump was an item of wonder for some of the best doctors in Dnipropetrovsk.

The people are exceptionally hospitible.. if you visit their home, you will be overfed (even if they have not enough for their own familys needs), and you will be expected to drink toasts with them.

Many Ukrainians are very hard working... many are not so hard working.

Their culture is very rich and beautiful.

I could go on for days.

Geographically, Kiev rests at the hub of Europe and is a completely different world but it's simple to it greater if you start from with hotelbye . Kiev may be the capital of Ukraine and is probably the most lovely town of all the post soviet countries. It is really a city of all you least expect. Kiev is an ancient city where previous matches new and east matches west. One of many points you will see in Kiev is the St. Cyrill's Monastery. This monastery was absolutely off-the-beaten track. This little church is really as old as time, relationship back once again to 12th century. Paintings of the popular Mikhail Vrubel take you right into a various world. And the fact the Monastery is away from the main tourist web sites in Kyiv is likely to make the experience even more humbling and inspirational.

Men aren’t “supposed” to seek out advice on how to get women or ask their friends how do I get a girl. We don’t sit around analyzing each other’s relationships. Still, picking up beautiful women is a skill that anyone can learn with enough time, practice, and access to the right resources. Read here https://tr.im/DNtbL
There is a ton of stuff ( to help you get started. Sometimes the techniques go against “conventional wisdom” or what seems to work in movies and romance novels. Push yourself out of your comfort zone and try them – they DO work and they are a huge advantage over the competition.
