I would say more than likely. You may be able to get a program that spoofs the game into thinking the card supports it. I know that I used a program called 3D Analyzer in the past for this. I am not sure if that will work for you or not.

If you want to play that specific game yes, but increasingly these days, most games require a decent, up to date 3D graphics (fx) card to play them. Going by the lack of details, I don't know how old your PC or what spec it is, but I'll assume it has an AGP port to plug in a new card.

You can get some good cheap 3D cards such as the Nvidia GeForce 6200A or the ATi Radeon 9600. Both examples there will provide the hardware T&L function for your games.

If the motherboard has no AGP slot (or PCI Xpress) then your options are extremely limited.

There are other more elaborate (and expensive) card options which will boost your fx performance even higher - I personally recommend Nvidia any day!!

Hope that answers your question. :)

t+l means "transform and lighting" this is a effect that most decent graphic cards will have
most of the older generation of cards(geforce 2,3,4/ radeon 7000,9250)will use t+l as part of their specs, also when you buy a card you need to look out for the pixel and shader model
pixel and shader models come in different models,1.0 is the oldest model and comes in lower end cards such as the radeon 700 and 9250,model 2.0 is a entry level standard for anyone wanting a good gaming experience and also is the model number that is required to run the new operating system"vista"
finnally model 3.0 is the best pixel and shader model and comes with all high end cards such as the geforce 6 and 7 series and most of the radeon x series
however you can get a decent card for less than £40 with pixel and shader 3.0,the geforce 6200 is a good card and will play near enough any game that you throw at it(doom3,quake 4,ect)
the answer to your question basically is "yes",but shop about as you dont need to break the bank when buying a graphics card, like i said the geforce 6200 is a excellent entry level card and will do what you need to run the game
good luck

Sounds like it. You wouldnt get the warning if your system passed the hardware requirements. If you get a new card check whether it supports hardware transform and lighting (most do). More detail here: http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/cs-011910.htm?iid=graphics+845main&
