Hi
I was going to answer your question, but I think you have got the idea by now. A combined radio transmitter and ipod charger is what you need. Available cheaply on any auction site, I have had mine for about six months and I wouldn't be without it. Much cheaper than getting a new radio with ipod or "aux in" socket
Happy trails

It is now legal in the UK (as of last month) to buy a radio transmitter which picks up the signal of your ipod and plays it through your car radio. You can buy these on Ebay.

Yeah, you can get something that connect it to the cassete player of the car( I saw a decent one in HMV in the UK and another in Best Buy in America) or you can get an IPod kit fit into your car, I don't know where you can do that though. Or you can get a piece of equipment that transmits your songs over the air and you have to tune your car radio to a particular station or something to hear them.

Ive got an I-Trip which transmits the output to a chosen frequency, in my case 100FM.

I then just tune my radio in to this. It works for my stereo at home too which doesnt have a jack in.

you can buy a special adapter, radio transmitter, or a tape converter. (made by many companies including Belkin and Apple are my favorite). tape converters/adapters are proably the cheapest but i like the radio transmitters.

i think you can get a connector to plug into the radio.

There should be a hole on the fascia of your radio.
