It takes a planet 2.46 years to orbit the sun, which has a mass of 2 x 10^30 kg, in an almost circular trajectory.

Calculate the radius of the orbit of the planet as it circles the sun in units of m. Gravitational constant is 6.672 x 10^-11 N m^2/kg^2.

Also, calculate the oribital speed of the planet as it circles the sun in units of m/s.

Let Mp = planet mass.
Ms= Sun mass. Then:
d = distance or radius.
F= G*Mp*Ms/d^2= Mp*a
a = centripetal acceleration = V^2/d
you must work with this equations and get the answer.
