OK, I'll answer one by one and talk slowly.
-Will they accept responsibility when the economy tanks due to increased income tax?
I would expect an increase or at least a roll-back of taxes on the top 5% or so. Thats the way it works - Republicans cut taxes and raise the federal debt, Democrats raise taxes and cut the federal debt
-When we are over run by illegal aliens due to amnesty?
That's Bush's proposal
-When we are attacked greater than 9-11 due to the elimination of the Patriot act and wiretaps?
I would not expect either of these to be overturned, just modified to protect law-abiding citizens. Funny thing about wiretapping is that it was already allowed, Bush just chose to ignore the "court order" part of the law.
-When terrorist recruitment increases due to our abandonment of desperate, freedom seeking citizens of the Middle East?
Bush and the Iraq war have done a much better job of raising terrorist recruitment levels than any Democrat could ever do
-When infants are murdered and harvested for failed research only to create a profitable market for abortionists?
The law has already been passed, with Democratic approval, to forbid "fetus farming". Try and catch up: S3504
-Will they accept responsibility on their watch for what they implemented, or will they simply attempt to blame and exiting President even though they now hold the power?
You mean like Bush blaming Clinton for things that happened on HIS watch?
-And furthermore will the dumbass voting public who put them there take responsibility?
Are you referring to the same "dumbass voting public" that elected Bush twice? You can't have it both ways. It is the same "dumbass voting public". They're just more pissed off now...
My head is out of my *** and my eyes are open. I suggest you try it sometime.

When did this country become THEM vs. US? We are ALL Americans reguardless if Democrat or Republican and we ALL have the responsibilty to work TOGETHER to make a better America for everyone. It is short sighted to say that just because one party has taken over the Senate/House and we have another party who holds the Presidency that somehow NOTHING will be accomplished and that America will suffer greatly. This the perfect time for Americans to come together and find the middle ground so that ALL people are represented. Be proud to be an American, where your voice is heard and our nation can change where changes are needed. Instead of casting blame before the new goverment is even in office, why dont you try to be proactive and write your Senator/Congressman and let them know what you expect from them and that you as an American are watching.

That's a lot of questions. LOL Oh well here goes. No. Dem's never accept responsibility. #2. See Answer #1 #3. See answer #1 #4 See answer #1 #5 See Answer #1 #6 See Answer #1 #7 The public will just vote them out of power again. It will take the Dem's more than 12 years to get back any power again. #8 Unfortunately, as we just saw in Tuesdays election, way too may people have their heads so far up their rectum to even guess. As history has shown many times, the Democrats are idiots. Just look at their patriarch, Ted Kennedy. A lecherous, alcoholic, murdering bum who the people of Massachusetts keep on sending back just because of his last name.

I feel for you, I truly do. I understand you are fearful. As was I, and it is truly sad that so many people are afraid. It makes me unhappy to know that there are many Americans afraid now that we have gone Dem as there were many Americans afraid when we went Rep.
You know, everyone, every person on this planet wants the same things. All the fighting is over how we are going to achieve our wants, needs and desires. NOT ON THE ENDS, but on the means to get to the ends.
I feel as strongly in my heart that we are doing the right thing as you did. I wish you freedom from fear.
A great deal of mine left, and that feels good, but I am sorry that it is now your turn to fear. For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
Peace.

With all due respect, you need to get off your terror horse for a minute, and listen to reason. You can rag on Dem's. or Republicans all you want, but that doesn't change the reality that the corporations control both sides. The people that own the world control the world and everyone in it. Hope I didn't burst any ones bubble.

I see you've been reading from Karl Rove's special edition of the Book of Revelations again.
The real question is, is 3,000 + American personnel worth one Saddam? Are "family values" easily reconciled with a GOP House Member who's a pedophile, and placed in charge of a committee that oversees protecting minors from online pedophiles? Does insider corruption with Tom DeLay, Jack Abramoff, and Ralph Reed equate integrity, ala the 1994 Contract with America?
You know the answers as well as I do, Gizmo. That's gotta burn your gut a little, but you put up a brave front, anyway.

Don't be a hater....I don't bunch people into "groups" like Dems or Reps; I look at each person/leader as an individual; Do we need to stir things up a bit? Absolutely! Is there going to be something(s) that we won't like...sure, but that goes with anything...it was time for a change...let's see what happens and stop putting people into "boxes"...time to think outside the box!

first of all, like the republican that held the majority before them, they don't hold enough of a majority to get anything meaningful done to move their agenda. like the republicans, they will suffer for it in 08 if they don't play their cards right. 51 senators, plus they face the veto pen, they really don't have a winning hand.
As for the tax cuts. they will expire in 2010 unless congress makes them permanant. so doing nothing will raise taxes then. i don't see how they can pull of rolling the tax cuts back before that, unless they get a more solid majority in 08.
The only thing i see happening in the next two years, is investagation after investigation, subpeona after subpeona. They are going to make it a living hell for republicans. Pelosi said she wants to "get along and work together." I don't believe a word of it.

Poverty......we have it in this country....but at least we have government aid and charitiable groups that help out those in poverty.....try living in a third world country....those are the people living in true poverty.....very little government assistance as there is very little to give......very few chariable groups to help...except for the few missionary groups that help out....go look at true poverty....visit an area of the world that is a third world country and venture out into the rural areas....no electricity...no running water....washing clothes in a muddy ditch or river...over size dog house for a home....when you see in person...you will come home and kiss the ground you live and walk on....and be thankful what what you have or don't have...
