Yes, the poem is by David Holbrook, a noted English educator and critic, who also wrote a number of novels and poems. I cannot locate a copy of the poem, but the Wikipedia article below lists all of his books, including several volumes of poetry. You might be able to find the poem in one of those IF your library can get them on inter-library loan. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

I first learned about Holbrook and his work in the 1960s when he came to prominence with books based on his own teaching in a secondary school: English for Maturity; English for the Rejected: Children's Writing, and others.
