Try rubbing your eye. Sometimes the contact will roll up and come out easier. Also put in some eye drops. Your contact could have gotten too dry while in your eye. If you still can't get it out call the eye doctor for suggestions. Are you sure it is still in there. It could have came out and you didn't realize it.

I don't slide mine. I found that to be more trouble than it was worth and I would try for an hour with no success like you. First, take a break from it. You're only going to get more panicky if you keep trying. Then just carefully pinch them right off your eye. Be careful the first few times until you get the hang of it, but it works better for me. Good luck

Slide it to the corner of your eye like you said, then while your eye is also looking to a corner, feel for it and using your finger and thumb remove the contact. Just watch your nail, or it will hurt. It takes some practice, but get's easier

I used to have a lot of trouble with contacts. First, you can try to put contact solution on the fingers which you get the contact out with. That makes it easier for the contact to stick to your hand. Also, try holding your eyelids as wide open as you can. (At least for me, touching my eye doesn't make me twitch, it's touching my eyelid.) And remember, practice makes perfect!

make sure your fingers are wet and put some contact lens solution in your eyes first because it sounds like your contacts are too dry. Dont wear them as long next time.
