I found 62 of varying sizes, but if I were you, I'd try it myself. It's much simpler than trying to explain where each triangle is. Just draw a hexagon, connect the vertices, and count triangles.
Edit: That's assuming you count larger triangles made up of smaller ones--if not it's 18.

If you join only diagonally opposite vertices you get only six, but if you join each vertex to every vertex it insn't connected to by the periemter of the hexagon you'll find 18 triangles ang 6 irregular pentagons.

If you use a simple joining of all the vertices it will be 6. If you start jusing more than six lines it could get ugly.
