No.
Victory implies we are going to play the game. The democrats and most of America are tired of playing.
Victory implies we can get something out of staying there. What is it we should get? There were no WMD;s, Sadaam has been found and tried and now he will be put to death.
Exactly whose platform was this "victory" a part of? I don't remember any democrat saying that. I do remember lots of republicans saying we need to stay until the job is done -- while never telling us what the job is.

That's going to have to play out now. Bush is still the commander and chief of the armed forces. By the way the Democrats haven't presented a plan on thier war on terrorism either.

Maybe NOW Kerry will unveil all those plans he said he had in 2004.

Can a Democrat tell me what has prevented Kerry from implementing all his plans by drafting legislation on all the issues he said he'd fix? Is he just being petulant about his loss in 2004 and depriving us of his wisdom and knowledge?

Victory, I wonder what the definition of that would be. The Neocons considered victory to be the establishment of a pliant client state that would allow permanent bases for American troops that could be used to bully the rest of the Arab states and insure the "correct" flow of the oil that belongs to us and somehow God mistakenly put under their sand. If you are holding your breath for that, I will relish watching you turn blue.

I don't recall that, I though they said very little about a plan.
It doesn't matter what their plan is, the pres calls the shots here, all the democrats can do is on the budget side.

Do yourself a favor, don't hold your breath waiting. If you do, you will almost certainly die. Two years is a long time to go without breathing.
