I think that religion should be held accountable the same way any business is. They have to prove they can deliver the product they are selling and if they can't, they should be exposed as a fraud. All I expect is proof that the ever-lasting life they push, is real and that as a subcontractor they have an obligation to prove that the supplier really exists. Short of that, their assets should be seized, sold and the resulting funds distributed to the poor rubes they victimized.

Soon enough they shall be...according to your Holy Bible, that prostitute, or harlot in other translations, represents false religion, including Christendom, which has been mingling and "riding the beast" which represents the world's governments, and the beast will finally have enough of her and will throw her off it's back and devour her! Oohhh, scarey for all those religions and church's out there not practicing what they preach! What did Jesus call them all....hypocrites! and wolves in sheep's clothing? Somewhere else in your Bible it says..."get out of her my people if you do not want to share with her in her plagues!" I'd say that scripture you sited will come to pass in the very near future! Yes!

Depends on the church....it seems like almost anyone can start a religion/church and many are obviously in it just for the money; Although I'm Catholic, I'd still love to see the Vatican audited!

You're the same person who probably screams at the top of his lungs for separation of church and state and you want to use the bible to decimate churches?

Churches have the same rights to own property as any other group.

Especially in the US, where churches are guaranteed the same legal protections as individuals or any other non-profit organization.

Leviticus is the Old Testament - none of that counts - only what Jesus says counts, nothing else does. He explained that.
