I don't think so. When I get home today I'm going to start putting Christmas lights on my house. People may think I'm nuts but I don't care. Me and my family lost our home last year because of Katrina. I'm not complaining because we did have a Christmas and we could have had it a lot worse but I told my kids we would make up for it this year. So this will be our first Christmas in our new house and we want to make it memorable. So I say to go ahead and put it up! Merry Christmas!

no depend if that's a actual tree, sure, easily is only too quickly. maximum individuals do not initiate putting up Christmas ornament till December 1st, after Thanksgiving. And actual timber are at super threat for drying out, so getting a clean shrink tree and retaining it in water continuously is extreme in case you have an electric powered lights or advantageous properties on the tree. 2 weeks previously Christmas is concerning the soonest maximum individuals do the tree, yet some people like them before. in case you utilize a synthetic tree, you are able to positioned it up each time. i could quite wait till Thanksgiving, yet that's me, i'm an fanatic too yet i don't decide to become uninterested in the decorations the two, and only approximately 7 weeks is an prolonged time. If it makes you chuffed, do it now, yet do not use a actual tree as which would be tremendously volatile. initiate carry out the small issues. So, wait in case you are able to, you're able to be first, only provide it a sprint longer. that's going to be greater exciting, something you should anticipate and you will spend the subsequent couple of weeks in anticipation.

Each generation makes their own traditions for their families, some put theirs up early, some puts theirs up on Christmas eve, some buy real trees and others like the artificial ones.
I personally like to put it up earlier ... I have seen Halloween stuff up at the end of August along with Thanksgving stuff in the stores. Also, 2 days before Halloween is over the stores have the Christmas stuff out. I say do what you want with a smile on your face. Happy holidays!

Me and my husband put up the tree a few days ago. I think many people think it is wrong to put it up before Thanksgiving because they think that person is forgetting about Thanksgiving. Me and my husband plan on celebrating Thanksgiving with family not fogetting about it. I love Christmas time so we just decided to put up the tree a little earlier. The way we look at things is you should do what you want and not have to worry about what everyone else thinks about it. Hope this answers your question.

I hear you! We live in a free country, for now, and should be able to decorate at anytime. Especially for Christmas. Christmas is a time for peace and love. We need that now more than ever. Nothing is wrong with decorating earlier. I plan to.

I've never heard of anyone getting upset about it, other than maybe they believe that you're neglecting Thanskgiving and what it celebrates (which is...violent imperialism?).
I believe it's the individuals right to do whatever with the land they own, and personally, I enjoy getting into the Christmas spirit early.

It sure is up to the individual. I was at the mall today and bought some very pretty decorations. YOU should have seen the looks I was getting..... the main reason for ppl getting up set is because - Christmas = debts ....... it reminds them of the money they are going to have to spend and they are not ready for that yet. You know what i say " BRING IT ON"

A lot of people are set in their ways and when someone does something different than what they feel is the right thing to do, it upsets them. That's why people get upset over things like gay marriage and religion and whatnot. It doesn't really affect them personally, but they don't agree with it, so they get upset.

It is because Advent hasn't even begun. It starts in December, therefore Christmas decorations should only come out at Advent.
