tell me about it, they moan at him all the time for don't doing this or doing that wrong. But if they ever need anything they click there fingers and expect him to come running.
at least my guy is starting to put his foot down, i think one day he'll just snap and tell them exactly what he thinks, if he doesn't i will.

Some people have a very hard time letting go, my inlaws are like that too. It can be very stressful when you feel like every one and eveything comes before you in your husbands life. Men often feel guilty when they can't be there for their parents, so they often will run at every call no matter how small. Our husbands think that we should no have any problem with this because they really think that if a problem arises in our familys' lives we will also go running, even if we have not in the past. Hang in there.

Well, how old are these people? Does you husband owe them a great deal for them giving him a good life? Are they close?
Are you NOT close to family members?
Maybe the folks can't afford others to come in and fix things.
Maybe suggest they make a list of things that need to be done once a month or so, and you go on over and help get what it is that needs done, and then you can have hubby more.
Is it killing you or the marriage? Try and be a bit more patient.

I you can ride it out, he may wake up. If not, then if you want your marriage to work, you will have to do all you can to appreciate him for the decent soul he is.
Okay, no fun when Junior runs to aid parents, but I have always thought that a measure of a person is how well they treat their parents.
Of course, it requires balance, and indeed being firm at times, but if you and he can achieve this balance it will aid your marriage greatly. I also suspect that it will make the bond the two of you share even stronger.
The best of luck, I am sure it is anything but easy.

For all you already know, your husband has a double existence. you are able to think of he's no longer having an affair, yet he must be. the two way, it is not any courting - there in no way is one once you are able to no longer have confidence him, and counseling won't help this, so do no longer waste some time. he's actively mendacity to you and treating you poorly, and in no way takes you under consideration. it particularly is going to purely worsen. Divorce him now, on a similar time as you are able to, earlier he escalates to actual abuse and you have greater teenagers and much less concepts. He does no longer LOVE YOU, and you ought to save your existence and your self-properly worth. Run!!!!

Marriage is the start of a new family unit and although the old one is not discarded, it should be pushed to one side because it is of less importance.
You need to tell him how bad this is making you feel and work out some rules between you that you can both live with. You cannot expect him to abandon his family, but he cannot expect you to come a bad second to them.

We are always doing this, But we have a great daughter in law and she does realise that as we are both disabled and he is our only son we do depend on him a lot, ( she often helps as well! all we can do in return for them is baby sitting and financial help when its needed!) I hope that she will say something or have a good moan to me about it if it should start to be a problem!
we are both very fond of her and to try to let her know and we do not wish to upset their marriage!

Manchesta is a real help, the soulless twit. Can't you talk this out with your husband and make him realise what his folks are doing, even though they probably don't know the effect they are having? Or is it possible that you are making too much of this yourself?
