If you are looking for a safe, organic, non pesticide treatment for the fleas, get a product called diatomaceous earth. It is a fine, white powder. Its actually the fossilized bodies of ancient diatoms, a type of algae. What happens is when the fleas crawl over it, the razor sharp little pieces cut them up, thus causing dehydration. However, it is not sharp or harmful to humans or pets, just insects. It will lose its potency if it gets wet, so if you use it outdoors and it rains you will have to reapply. Fleas love sand so a sandy yard is the perfect breeding ground for them, which could easily be tracked into your house. If you use it in your house you could put it down and later vacuum it back up ( you might want to leave the house and let it do its work for a day or so). Also, its cheap!

I sympathize..it befell to me. First you'll favor to isolate the pets from the residing house. I took mine to the vet, for a flea dip and an afternoon of boarding. that is not that prime priced. If not, you'll nonetheless favor to flea dip the animals, and perhaps a chum can sit down for them. Now the problematical area. Fleas lay eggs by the 1000's, and they multiply by the 1000's, so that you're going to favor to flea bomb the residing house. that is the purely thanks to ruin the eggs which will be deep in fabrics, carpet, drapes, bedding...you call it. If any eggs proceed to be, they'll hatch, reinfect the cat, you and the residing house. flow to the puppy save, and ask for the Most worthy, least poisonous fogger for fleas, if there is one of those ingredient. you've gotten to placed a bomb (fogger) in each and each and every room and the residing house, and it must be thoroughly close down...all residing house windows and doors. you'll favor to bathe all bedding, pillows covers, comforters, dirt ruffles, tablecloths, curtains contained in the most well loved water it may take formerly the fogging. do not replace them, until eventually after the therapy. the residing house will favor to stay locked up for twenty-four hours, and do not go back to look. That stuff is poisonous. ideally, in case you may want to stay at a friends or kinfolk residing house for some days. once you come back, purely come to open the doors and residing house windows and air it out for no less than 3 hours. make confident you get rid of and/or save nutrients products contained in the refrigerator or a cooler. To be extra probability-free, i might want to run all cooking utensils and pots, pans dishes, etc contained in the dishwasher formerly utilizing. make confident you sanitize your kitchen counters formerly utilizing too. i recognize it appears like plenty, yet in case you do it halfheartedly, they'll go back, more suitable and itchier. And maximum major, save the cat dealt with with Frontline or income, each and each month. that is the purely ingredient that works. One flea can develop into 1000's in some days. i experience for you...yet take heart, now you recognize, and it will be prevented contained in the destiny. solid success.

you might try some 7 dust from your lawn and garden area! it does work and is cost effective too. It won't only kill your fleas but almost any other crawly bug that may be lurking around as well. just sprinkle it on and vacuum it up the next day, it should also take care of the eggs as they hatch. I have used it around my home for years with no troubles. both inside and out. you may need to treat your lawn as well as that is most likely were they are coming from.

Get some aerosol bug bombs available at the hardware store. You spread out newspaper under the cans and set them to spray all the contents out. You leave for about 4 hours and when you come back they will be dead.

They sell flea bombs that will kill them but you need to kill off the eggs so you may need to bomb the house two or three times within the hatching period. Usually three days.

FLEA BOMBS OF COURSE, BUT THE THING IS YOU HAVE TO KEEP VACUUMING - THAT IS THE TRICK. THE BOMBS WILL KILL THAT IS ALIVE, NOT THE EGGS. SO VACUUM, VACUUM, VACUUM. IF ALL THIS DOESN'T HELP YOU WILL HAVE TO REPLACE YOUR CARPET TO ACTUALLY BE FREE. GOOD LUCK.
