I have been wanting to get a tattoo of my nickname for awhile now. Can I do it while pregnant? I am 29 weeks, and was thinking of having it done on my leg, above my ankle. A friend of mine said it wasn't safe. Can I do this without hurting my baby?

I don't see any reason why you couldn't get a tat now, however, if you are getting one on your leg, then be careful that your leg isn't swollen. That may distort the tat after you are not pregnant. Personally, I would wait until after and make that the "prize" for enduring 9 months of baby manufacturing. (besides the baby being the prize) good luck.

I asked a tattoo artist about this a couple of years ago and he said it was no problem as long as the work wasn't done on the belly. However, I have a friend who got a blood infection after having a tattoo done. So, be very careful that you are in a sterile environment and use a properly trained and licensed artist.

I wouldn't get any kind of tattoo done while I was pregnant. You are not that long away from having the baby. I think I would wait. You'll have time afterwards, then you won't have to worry about your little angel.

I wouldn't advise it just because the risk you run with tattoo needles. Wait 11 weeks until your baby is here. Talk to your doctor, they may be okay with it. I still wouldn't do it. Just to risky for your little one.

Just wait.. Your body is so fragile right now. Someone rubbing your foot the wrong way could set you off into a premature labor. Why risk it? Just wait, you only have 11 more weeks.

I had all 4 of my youngsters obviously and I am now not looking to scare you but it surely HURTS!!!! If you do not htin kyou can manage a lotof ache then I might now not endorse doing all of it obviously. There are possible choices to an epidural. You can continually ask for nubane, that is a remedy that allows you to knock out probably the most pains, however you're going to nonetheless be capable to suppose your contractions and recognise what exertions is rather like. I did my first little one with nubane but if I eventually requested for it I was once too past due given that the youngster was once popping out and I was once feeling the entire ache. They will numb you while your youngster is comin gout so you will not suppose all the excrutiating ache, however I am right here to inform you that there's no approach round painand having each person contact you even as you're offering. Also, along with your first little one you're scared and now not too certain approximately what's going to occur. Don't get me improper, the affection of preserving that candy little one is valued at the entire ache inthe international. It's thoroughly your alternative, however from my possess enjoy, I might recommend that you simply speak for your general practitioner approximately exceptional remedy choices and the epidural earlier than rulin git out simplest given that it's your first and prefer I mentioned, you are already scared and apprehensive and concerned and now not rather figuring out precisely what to assume is nerve wreckiing adequate. If you propose to have extra youngsters at some point, that's the excellent time to head all ordinary given that they get less complicated (within the reality of figuring out what you're doing and figuring out what to assume) and you're going to be capable to tolerate the ache a lot larger with every supply. Like I mentioned, the alternative is of path yours however from enjoy, I might do the epidural at the first move round, until you don't count on extra youngsters, then I woul ddo all ordinary and check out your excellent to manage the ache. Natural is an enjoy all in itself and I believ very girl must recognise what's feels love to provide start obviously. Reseach your resolution earlier than you are making it considering your ache tolerence is low and you do not just like the notion of unusual medical professionals and nurses touching you. But I might like so as to add that it doesn't matter what, if any form of ache remedy you get, even the epidural, the entire ache is not going to leave. Some men and women don't suppose whatever with the epidural however I have heard of a few men and women that suppose plenty of the painor a minimum of the strain of chid start and also you additionally ought to wait to stand up given that your frame will likely be numb for a couple of hours after the epidural. Some of my peers have even mentioned that the epidural did not take after which a few have mentioned they needed to be waken up so that they would push given that they have been sound asleep. Whatever you make a decision, please make a decision earlier than you move into the exertions/supply room given that whenever you get there and wait a even as to provide them an reply, it would be too past due to provide you whatever given that the youngster would already be at the approach! Labor varies, my first was once 20 hours, 2d three a million/two hours, third five a million/two hours and 4th was once five a million/two hours. Be cautious and as soon as once more, study and ask any and each and every query you'll feel of. No query is a studid query and also you deserve an reply while it's related to your clinical concentration.

Not advisable. Err on the side of caution and wait until baby is born. You have waited this long...a few more weeks isn't going to kill you.
