Ours are indtalled on the outside of residential apartments and have been tested as far as proper voltage - we believe this is a manufacturing issue - that the size of the unit does not allow the heat generated by the 100 Watt bulb to dissapate. Looking for others who have had problems with this companies fixtures.

Cooper lighting is normally a good product, I'm just wondering what you have 7,900 watts of light on, Most of the time that much light is used in parking lots, horse arenas things of that nature, are they 120v, 240v, 277v, 480v someone may have wired them to the wrong voltage, those types of lights are factory made for 3 or 4 voltage setting if wired incorrectly they are short lived lights.

A metallic halide bulb purely works in a fixture with a ballast it really is very designed for this variety of bulb. do not placed one in this gentle! and do not flow over the 60 watt optimal, or it would want to grow to be a hearth probability with the further warmth from the bulb. They price them for a reason, not purely for the interesting of it.
