Seriously, look it up or read the ingredients on some of your make-up. Why do so many companies use harmful chemicals when there are safer, natural alternatives?!

you should also know that formaldehyde and many other chemicals are in many of our foods also.

Many of the times the safer alternatives are more costly, and therefore cheaper chemicals are used for cost effectiveness. Formaldehyde is used to preserve cosmetics. I guess the most effective way to get away from using these harsh chemicals is to read labels.

Yes I did, this is not a news flash. The chemicals used in makeup and the processes by which they are tested have been up for debate for the last 30 years.

Mineral makeups have much fewer added chemicals as long as you get them in loose form. Pressed mineral makeup has waxes and oils added to make it stay in a cake.

Yes, and they put it nail polish. It promotes the growth of nails. I don't use polish with formaldehyde in it.

Yes I did know that... Did you know that all those frosted eye shadows and lipsticks are made glittery from ground-up fish scales? That's the truth.
