There is no good reason to deny marriage to gay couples.

Personally I feel no need for marriage between myself and the guy I might want to spend the rest of my life with. I think people started getting married so when they had kids they wouldn't be from two different families. If that wasn't the reason, then why do people make such a big deal out of having babies out of wed lock. I do think we should be able to share the same benefits as married couples through some kind of legal standing but as far as holy matrimony, you can keep it. As far as a woman that can't have children...she is still a woman and maybe by some miracle she did become pregnant...her child would still be from one family but when it comes to two people of the same sex we have no natural way of pro creating so I don't think marriage is meant for us. Then again I think people have totally redefined the meaning of marriage so maybe it is for us now. All I know is I'm not going to be a bride anytime soon.

I think that you should be able to marry whomever you are in love with. This world is so full of hate and killing. I mean if you are lucky enough to find that one person who makes your heart skip a beat then marry them I do not care if you are same sex. Find what makes YOU happy in life. We are the only ones who have to fill our destinys. Life as I am learning is way to short to take for advantage. Get as much love and hugs as you can and give as much as you can. And who cares about everybody else. We should all work to make this planet a better place to live but instead we fight over stupid things.

Blessings

Because it's not actually about whether you can have kids it's just a convenient excuse for the anti-gay laws. Not a very logical one clearly.
Whatever happened to marriage being about love?

Notice the anti-gay crowd doesn't actually answer the question. They will turn to "religion". When Religion doesn't work, they have nothing left other than slurs and verbal attacks.

Most couples dont know if they're unfertile before marriage - because most of them will use protection as they wouldnt want to get pregnant before they are married. So how could the authorities know - so and so isnt able to have children. Whereas you definitely know that homosexual couples cant have children.

I think most of the objections to gay marriage have nothing to do with the couple's ability to have children.

Great question. I'm 50/50 bi and infertile; I wouldn't get kids with a man, either.
