Right.Be it helping out at an old folks home or teaching the illiterate how to read and write.
Work for your benefits or dont get them.
Its too rightwing isnt it.But i know folk capable of working who wont because thier standard of living would suffer.

problem is most onthe dole are claiming some health probs as to why they cant work
would just trasfer their compliants
besides if they can work for the dole they can get a real job

It's a great idea but unfortunately it wouldn't work. They have a scheme similar for people out of work for long periods, but it is a voluntary option. If people don't want to do the work then they just stop claiming.
boot camp followed by voluntary work would be better.

Yes, i think around 4hours a day should be enough,picking up litter around industrial estates and road verges, other few hours spent looking for a job. It is a good idea but will never happen

Cant be a bad a thing. They should be made to do shopping for the elderly or keep them company. Make sure they are warm and safe as well.

Absolutely spot on, and all those low level criminals in prison, they need to be in chain gangs, fixing the country's roads !!!!!
